V: The New Series Pistol Blaster Replica..

Hey Veeks.. I've got a guy working on a replica of the Pistol Blasters from the new series.. The design is nearly finished, he's just changing a couple things and needs to add a couple of pieces to get it as close as the screen used version as possible.. Details aren't finalized yet, but it could be offered as a kit, or a solid resin cast and will also be offered completely finished.. Prices will vary between them of course.. Here is what I'm talking about..

The scale parts of the Blaster are being resized to make it more screen accurate at present.. Once I can get more updates and pics I will add them here.. Oh, and don't be expecting to pay the same as an Original Laser.. These will be offered cheaper..

I'm sorry!! Where in this topic it asked for non supporters to voice their opinions about the new series?? Well why come into a topic for the new series fans and try and force your opinions?? Who gives a flying frak what you like or don't like.. Stay out of topics that have NOTHING to do with you.. you're taking it the wrong way, as stryker doesn't like the new V, and posted that fact here, I was directing him to somewhere he can express that view, not a bad thing considering what happened last time.There was no intent to invalidate anyones views etc, If you read the line in my post "to keep the peace here" you'd have understood that.

F/irst, let me apologize for a gut reaction. Call it "Old Timers Disease" What I really meant was that, the original designs appealed to me more. Do I like the new series? In a lot of ways, YES. The stories ARE interesting, in the same way the stories of the "new" BSG were great. I just don't care for the details.

Would be cool to see a fully functioning version too with a case with the new Vs Logo plus some visitorese

I gotta admit, I am getting hooked on the new series in its own right.
Any word on what the Shocktrooper uniforms and rifles are going to look like? The pistols look "Art Deco"ish with a SLIGHT touch of the
Klingon (2 front side plates) about it. Unfortunately, I dont get to see it much due to things beyond my control. I look forward to seeing what is going to show up.
