Donovan, Michael
Donovan could have investigated the Visitors in any part of the world but chose Los Angeles, where his son lived. When his son was subsequently captured by the Visitors, it prompted Donovan to sneak aboard the mother ship. Donovan taped footage revealing the true nature of the Sirians, and learned of the actual intentions of the Visitors. Taking this information to a small embryonic resistance group, he became part of a mobilization against Visitor activity. Although Donovan gains the friendship and trust of certain Visitor fifth columnists, he gains an even greater enemy in Diana, who realizes a personal vendetta against the Resistance leader.
Parrish, Julie
Parrish was instrumental in the Resistance plot to invade a televised Visitor presentation and unmask the supreme commander of the fleet during his speech. However, Parrish was captured and underwent conversion therapy by Diana, who planned to use Parrish against the Resistance. But before the final stages can be completed, Parrish is rescued by the humans. After the bacterial weapon had been deployed and Diana was facing the Resistance at gunpoint in her own control room, she was able to exert enough residual control over Parrish in order to escape (temporarily). After the Resistance's apparent victory, Parrish was employed by Science Frontiers. When the Visitors returned and the Resistance reunited, Parrish remained at her position, secretly relaying information to the underground. Eventually, she was discovered and forced to move underground herself.
Tyler, "Ham"
When the war was apparently won, Tyler started his own private security company. Science Frontiers's Nathan Bates hired Tyler to free Diana, and Tyler agreed on the condition that he could have her when Bates was finished with her. Tyler's hatred for Diana demanded her torture and execution at his hands. But Bates played Tyler for a fool and when Diana escaped, Tyler vowed revenge on Bates. Tyler never revealed his role in freeing Diana and turning her over to Bates, knowing that the Resistance would not understand. When Bates was finally killed in a Visitor attacks, Tyler felt that it was time to move on to other cities where local resistance efforts needed assistance. He was last known to be operating in the United States city of Chicago. |
